Disputes and complaints

Effective date: 17 October 2026 · Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. What this policy covers

VendorLink is not a party to deals and holds no funds. Because nothing is sold on the Platform, this document does not set rules for cancellation, returns or refunds. Those are governed by the contract the Buyer and Supplier make with each other and by the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan (see clause 6 of the Terms of Use).

What this policy does explain is two things: what we expect of the parties when something goes wrong with goods or services, and how we handle complaints about conduct on the Platform.

2. Goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described

If what arrives does not match the agreed specification, was damaged in transit or is defective, notify the Supplier directly — with photographs and a reference to your contract — within the period your contract provides. What happens next (repair, replacement, refund and return shipping costs) is determined by your contract and by law. VendorLink does not run that process and cannot pay a refund, because it holds no funds.

In Azerbaijan, business-to-business sales do not carry the statutory consumer right of withdrawal. Where the Buyer does qualify as a consumer under the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights, the mandatory provisions of that Law apply.

3. Disputes between Buyer and Supplier

Talk first. Raise it directly with the other party. Most problems are specification misunderstandings and are settled at this stage.

Tell us. If there is no resolution within 7 days, either party can write to report@vendorlink.az with the request reference and evidence.

What we can and cannot do. We hold no funds, so we cannot refund, freeze a payment or enforce a deal. What we can do is ask both sides for their account, respond within 30 days, and where there are grounds remove a listing, withdraw the “Verified” badge or suspend an account.

Outside the Platform. Nothing here prevents either party from pursuing its rights in court or, where agreed, in arbitration.

4. Abuse of this policy

Repeatedly raising unfounded disputes, refusing to return goods after a refund, or fabricating evidence is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy and may lead to account closure.
